Come Celebrate Our 35th Anniversary with Us
July  2016

Dear Friend,

We've wrapped up the Yoga Fest from last weekend, our first such collaborative fund raising event. I'm eager to share with you how off-the-charts-wonderful the Fest was for me!

It was like the passage through our 35th anniversary year brought us into a bright expansive place, tingling with the energies of new possibilities.

Supported by excellent teachers, a handful of competent volunteers and weather made in heaven, we deepened our connections with each other and this place. This team, together with our staff,
welcomed and supported a diverse and daring school of seekers.

As we continue to recognize the Christine Center's 35th anniversary, we are carried forward by an energy that keeps us moving.  It's a wave that includes the vast expanse of all creation.

We are washed and rinsed in its evolving Presence. It comes from the Timeless One, the Source of All, that we familiarly call the Beloved.

With special gratitude to event coordinator Susan Dunne-Guzman and to all who contributed their talent and treasure, and all who made this Yoga Fest possible.

We invite you to the Stillness.

You Say It Best

Thank you for the wonderful place. It is a witness to the compassion our world needs. I found the rest here that I needed very badly. I return home refreshed and grateful.

Consider this Opportunity Available through Our New Relationship with Spiritual Teacher Patricia Albere:

4 Pillars of Awakened Mutuality
Free Live Online Introductory Session
Saturday, July 9, 11 am-12:15 pm PST

Are you ready for what's next in your spiritual evolution?

There comes a time in our spiritual lives when we begin to yearn for something more, something beyond the inner landscape of self-realization. We are longing to experience and LIVE the possibilities for creativity, love and connection that we have tasted along our path of individual awakening.

Mutual Awakening  is a practice for our times, and could possibly be the foundational spiritual practice of the future. It takes us beyond individual identity to access and embrace larger fields of energy, insight and love in a way that is exactly what our planet needs right now.

Patricia will be expertly guiding a series of 4 online virtual retreats, bringing together a global community of practitioners who are ready to enter into new dimensions of relating and expanding consciousness together. Do you want to find out how to:
  • Learn the skills and techniques for engaging Mutual Awakening as spiritual practice
  • Create & participate in a shared field of awakening that sparks greater human capacity for collaboration, creativity & intimacy
  • Deepen your relationship with others by awakening a profound ability for connection and receptivity
  • Speed up your transformation by tapping into a larger field
  • Participate in a revolution in consciousness that is central to a vital evolutionary shift
If you're not able to make the live call on July 9th, register anyway to receive the recording.

Christine Center June Volunteers Transforming Gardens and Trails

Christine Center Volunteers Transforming Gardens and Trails
Watch this 1 minute volunteer appreciation.
We celebrate with gratitude the transformation of the Siloe Gardens and Earth Spirit Gardens.  Many thanks to Jeanne and David Hamlin for their garden design skills. We got on our knees in active devotion planting, watering, rescuing and transplanting.

Plus, our trail team was busy transforming our woodland trails with new names: Earth, Air, Water, and Fire and new signage. They pounded stakes two feet down and attached the new signs. Thank you to everyone who made a difference.

Special  Retreat  with International Teacher Patricia Albere
August 7-9 (Sunday-Tuesday)

The Christine Center will host Mutual Awakening with Patricia Albere as a Next Level Teaching.

Many of you have walked with us in this integrative spirituality path over the years and are aware that "There is always more!" as Sister Johnna likes to say.

We have explored opportunities for creating a hub in the Midwest for inner work and are in the process of bringing teachers who can support our on-going development.

Patricia Albere is one of these teachers whose path of Mutual Awakening holds the promise of moving into the next paradigm which she names "post personal work and collective awakening".

This work requires readiness and a stronger level of commitment as we come together with others who want to champion the next wave of human evolution. We believe this program meets the depth of work for which many of us yearn. Learn More
Won't You Be Our Friend?

What Do Freedom, Guadalupe, Sun, Uriel, Wisdom, Holy Angels have in Common? They are six of our hermitages that need a friend to help maintain their sacred presence at the Christine Center.

Our 16 hermitages were all built as acts of love with five donated to us as gifts of love. The wood was bought, and the saws, the hammers, the nails, and strong, skilled volunteers all became one in a project of remarkable creativity that endures. Each hermitage is unique with its own flavor and tone, and they are precious to us.

However, after m any yea rs these handmade buildings need repair. Over the past few years our Sponsor-a-H ermitage program has been a great success. All hermitages were adopted and over a three-year p e riod we have been able to afford lots of repairs. But it's an ongoing need.

For more information and pictures visit Sponsor-a-Hermitage web page, or call Johanna Seubert at 715.267.7902.
