Psychic, medium and life coach Bobby Marchesso helps people move through their grief with messages from loved ones who have crossed over. He encourages individuals to move past their habitual negative behavior and offers tools and techniques for a new, lighter, more positive way of being.
 
Marchesso is a former Colorado police officer, hosted KSQY's Morning Show, was news anchor and executive producer for NewsCenter1 Today and now lives and works in Los Angeles, CA as a television host and actor.

Often called the happiest instrument of all, the ukulele has enjoyed a recent revival in the indie rock and pop music scene. Learn how to play music with this big-hearted little instrument and become a happy music maker!
 
Our four-part lesson series is geared towards beginning ukulele players. Instruments will be provided or bring your own. Ukuleles become yours after the final class! 
 
Registration required on our online events calendar by noon Wednesday, July 6. Please indicate after your name if you would prefer a small (13"), medium (15"), or large (17") ukulele. Class is limited to those 11 years or older. Any questions, please call Jim McShane 394.4171 Ext. 2216

Growing up, Chicago-based singer-songwriter Laura Joy listened obsessively to musicals. Then her mom introduced her to Joni Mitchell, she found Jewel and "it was over."
 
Her latest EP Between Our Worlds was released in March 2015.

Pick up or download a Reading Log. Check a box for each day you read or are read to for 15 minutes. Participants who complete 50 days of reading will be entered into a drawing for bigger prizes! Check an additional box for taking part in some of our fun events and ideas listed. For every ten events or ideas you complete, you receive an additional entry into our grand prize drawings!

Kansas City kid rocker Jim "Mr. Stinky Feet" Cosgrove will get the entire family rocking when he sings his hit tunes "Stinky Feet" and "Ooey Gooey." Mr. Stinky Feet is a nationally-recognized children's entertainer with eight award-winning CDs, including seven Parents' Choice Awards.

Read a book of any length and turn in an entry form for each book to earn a prize and an entry in the grand prize drawing at the end of the summer. 

Each person may turn in up to five reading logs for a total of five prizes and five grand prize drawing entries. 

Attend teen programs over the summer to receive teen program entry forms that can be turned in for a prize and a grand prize drawing entry.
