On June 21, CCSNJ hosted its 21st annual Pinnacle Awards Dinner, honoring some of the region's most influential people. Chairman's Award recipient Malcolm Jenkins, pro-bowl safety for the Philadelphia Eagles and founder of The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation, delivered the keynote address following the distribution of the Education, Wellness, Public Service and President's awards. 


On June 24, CCSNJ members gathered to hear from South Jersey's top utility executives as they discussed the most recent developments in their respective companies as well as the state and national trends facing utility companies today.

Senator James Beach addressed CCSNJ members at a State Affairs Committee meeting on June 29. The Senator touched on issues of importance to the business community as well as his top legislative priorities. 




John DiAngelo
John DiAngelo was appointed president and chief executive officer of Inspira Health Network on January 1, 2014. Mr. DiAngelo joined Inspira in 2000 as senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer, having previously served as vice president for planning and network development at Virtua and chief financial officer at Memorial Hospital of Burlington County. He also held positions at Saint Mary Hospital in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Mr. DiAngelo earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from St. Joseph's University and a master's degree in business administration from Widener University.



Bancroft, a non-profit organization that serves individuals with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities and other neurological conditions, has created a thriving enterprise of small businesses that provide employment and training to many of those served by the organization. From lawn care to an online apparel store, these small businesses benefit employees by acclimating them to daily work life, cultivating job skills and promoting greater independence so they can find meaningful employment in community-based businesses.

Chamber members with experience starting or managing businesses successfully are needed to help guide Bancroft's Employment Enterprises. The CCSNJ congratules Mitchell A. Livingston, Esq., on his recent promotion to Executive Vice President & Corporate Counsel by NJM Insurance Group. 

Livingston, who is also a member of NJM's Board of Directors, is responsible for leading the Company's strategic planning efforts, while also heading-up NJM's Commercial Lines sales, service and underwriting divisions, which include the Garden State's largest workers' compensation book of business. He also oversees NJM's Human Resources Department and Special Investigations Unit.
