July eNews: Chamber Corner

What a great year so far for the Stayton Sublimity Chamber & our community! We've seen encouraging business growth, increased employment opportunities, and progress toward expanding regional networking & tourism, as well as positive collaboration between civic organizations & the Chamber to ignite passion and enthusiasm for local improvements and economic enhancement projects. There are so many ways as individuals or businesses to get involved and help improve our communities. We are excited about what's happening here!

The 21st Annual Santiam SummerFest:
Bringing our Chamber Mission to Life
Each year your local   Stayton Sublimity Chamber dedicates significant time & energy to making the Santiam SummerFest an ongoing success. The reasons are rooted in our mission: " To promote a thriving business climate that enhances local economic vitality & community livability." And we are passionate about it.

By creating a public space where locals can get to know their neighbors, connect with friends and experience businesses & organization, we encourage a sense of camaraderie and goodwill among citizens. Building healthy relationships is essential to community prosperity.

SummerFest enables that personal, face-to-face opportunity to connect with your local market. The event brings an average of 8,000 people to the streets of historic, downtown Stayton. That's 8,000 opportunities to share your product, vision, and passion with your consumers, and showcases, to out-of-town festival-goers, what our area has to offer, creating potential for  on-going revenue from future travel & tourism to our area.

Do you have your vendor booth? Want to sponsor an activity or attraction? Are you willing to volunteer to help us with set-up, block monitoring, or working the info booth? This event is for you! How will you choose to participate in this community event?

Trip of a Lifetime:
Are you Ready to Discover Cuba?
At our June meetup, our travel presenter, Ryan had just returned from this beautiful and one-of-a-kind country, brimming with excitement about what Cuba has to offer. If you are unfamiliar, our local Chamber has paired with Chamber Explorations to offer an all-inclusive trip to Cuba, October 19-26, 2016. The trip pricing includes airfare, deluxe   accommodations , meals, travel guide, and  guaranteed  adventure.

We were lucky to lock in the group travel rate, courtesy of Chamber Explorations,  as prices there are expected to escalate in 2017, thanks to Cuba's newfound popularity. In fact, there are currently only 18 seats remaining our chartered airplane out of Miami to Cuba.

Whether you are interested in traveling to Cuba this October, or simply want to learn more about this unique country, we invite you to join us for an evening of discovery...
