Proud day in Cleveland History!!!
Director's Corner
A Message from Steve Sanders

Monthly Motivation:
CLEVELANDDDDDD!!!!

Wow! We are the World Champions of the NBA! It's been almost two weeks since the Cavs won the Finals and it still feels somewhat unreal.

I'm sure we've all heard Lebron James' heartfelt letter a thousand times over the past year but it seems to never get old to me. "In Northeast Ohio, NOTHING is given, EVERYTHING IS EARNED!" Those words seem to carry more weight now after coming back from 3-1 in the NBA Finals! Something that no team has ever done! Not the 96-98 Bulls, not the Magic Johnson Lead Lakers but it was the 2016 Cleveland Cavs who were able to do so!

As I wrap up this longer than usual Motivational Message, I want to highlight Lebron James' answer to a post game 7 question - "How did you all do it?". Without hesitation, Lebron simply stated "The Man above doesn't put more on you than you can handle". As great as LBJ played in this series, leading all players in every statistical category, the greatest thing he did was give honor and glory to God aka "The Man Above".

In closing, always remember that no matter the adversity you are facing in life, The Man above will not put more on you than you can handle!

Summer for FCA is a time to focus on camp and preparing for the kick-off of the next school year's huddles!

Summer is also a time when we are preparing for camp season. This year the Camp theme is "RISE". NE Ohio will be hosting a Leadership Camp in July.  Leadership Camps are for student-athletes, Huddle Coaches and volunteers who serve as leaders on their local campuses. The camp focuses on teaching practical skills for Christian growth, the development as an effective campus leader and the training for spiritual, organizational and motivational tools for use in the FCA Campus Ministry. See "Upcoming Events" below for more details.
School's out so now it is time to prepare for the 2016/17 school year

Summer is the time when we begin planning and preparing for the next school year. Events are in the works for our "Huddles" from next year's Fields of Faith and Huddle Showdown to a new event coming to a school near you!

Steve spoke to around 400 businessmen and women at American Income Life. He was able to share with them about the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the impact that it is having around the Greater Cleveland area as well as inspire them with his message of  "Walking in the Power".
