Understanding Alzheimer's

Understanding Dementia Behaviors

Behaviors have a purpose. Some we understand easily, others are harder to discern. Does your loved one get agitated? Do they repeat questions or actions over and over? Are they displaying paranoia?  These are just a few of the common behaviors of dementia. Understanding the triggering events and how to counteract these behaviors is important.

The Southern Caregiver Resource Center has prepared this fact sheet and guide to understanding behaviors of those with dementia.
