Your Voice Matters: Make It Heard
Summer Camp for Teens - Grades 9-12,  July 25 - 29

In collaboration with The Music Recource Center of Cincinnati, WWf(a)C f acilitators Olivia Linn and Pam Temple will lead this series, which incorporates WWf(a)C practices to ensure a safe space where each voice is heard and honored. Facilitators will provide prompts, poems, and other resources to help students choose and develop their writing and stories.   MRC Staff will join the writing circles to teach about the process of recording, podcasts, and ways of using personal devices to record. A visit to the MRC recording studio is included (optional). Program supported in part by ArtsWave.

Salons have returned!

Salons are informal gatherings held at WWf(a)C and sponsored by Women's Way of OH/KY.  Bring a poem, photo, story or song to share, or simply enjoy listening. Potluck before, during and after each Salon--bring enough for yourself plus a little extra. Salons are a great way to meet new people, share ideas, and learn new information.

Upcoming Salons:
Friday, July 15 - 6:30-9pm
Friday, July 29 - 6:30-9pm

Salons are held at WWf(a)C:
6906 Plainfield Road

Mary Pierce Brosmer, WWf(a)C Founder
and Jane Pugliano

The red balloons were flying in celebration of our 25th Reunion gathering, bringing together over 50 women who have been a part of WWf(a)C from its earliest beginnings to our newest members.  Barbra Druffel opened our circle with the familiar rituals--lighting the candle and reading a poem, but instead of passing the stone, each woman found a stone on her chair to take home as a remembrance.   Read More...
