We've got a lot of reasons for you to come downtown this 4th of July weekend!
On First Friday we're offering an all levels FREE yoga class with Sejal from 5:30-6:45pm, then join Angie Forest in the café from 7:00-8:00pm as she shares Original Alternative Folk songs interlaced with Mantra that passionately infuse the need for Environmental Justice, and the desire for more Peace Love & Harmony in our realities. Both events are FREE!
Kindly Kitchen will be offering FREE samples, and serving dinner until 7:30, while the Lotus Garden is offering 15% off on all clothing, bags, and books. We have lots of new books in stock on Yoga, Mediation, Consciousness, Ayurveda, and more.
Then on
Sunday morning from 10:30-11:45am, Neighborhood Yoga is offering the first of an ongoing series of called "
Bhakti Asana." Is your soul longing for a shot of inspiration? Explore a vinyasa yoga practice that turns asana into a moving, meaningful ritual that reminds you what's most important in life. "Come as you are, awaken to your essence."
This Sunday at 10:30, July 3rd, Valerie will be leading a gentle, all levels practice, while Lauren Hayworth will sing, chant, play guitar and harmonium, and Rob Falvo will join on percussion. Regular class price, but we also want to make this practice accessible to everyone, so we have a few "bhakti scholarships" available.
On Monday, July 4, Neighborhood Yoga will open between 9-1 with two classes offered that day, the 9:30am Gentle Yoga, and an all levels noon class that is donation based. So come do some yoga with us before headed off to celebrate our Independence.
We also have some great workshops throughout the summer including yoga for teens, acro, nidra, Gita, Yoga on the Water, essential oils and more! See below for details, and as always, we hope to see you in the Neighborhood.
In Peace,
Valerie
