Art After Dark
Oil Painter Sarah Sneeden
|
Oil Painter Sarah Sneeden will be demonstrating in Twigs and Leaves Gallery during Art After Dark Friday evening, July 1st, 6-9 PM. Sarah herself is a burst of sunshine as her paint brush fills the canvas with vibrant color and light. Her works of
"Captured Sunshine" will be featured all month in
the gallery. We hope that you will be able to visit with her that evening. If you want to see more of her work, you may click on the image above.
Friday evening, as you stroll through the gallery's 150+ primarily regional artists, enjoy piano music by Waynesville's
Diane Wolfe and delight in the savory hors d'oeuvres.

Spotlight
Potter Annette Libby
|
Annette Libby was born and
raised in Germany, and moved to the United States twenty-four years ago. As a self-taught artist, her work is greatly influenced by her love for nature.
Graceful, simplistic forms found in nature fascinate and influence her pieces. The pottery is formed by hand using a clay slab as opposed to a potter's wheel. Each piece is hand painted (glazed) and is one of a kind. Coils of clay are also used in some pieces in order to create various shapes and forms.
If you want to see more of her work, stop by the Gallery or click on the image to go to our website.
