"Better safe than sorry!"  Our LEPC--Local Emergency Planning Committee--is a group that follows the sage advice of this age-old saying.  This committee, made up of community leaders, concerned citizens, business professionals and emergency personnel (fire, law enforcement, HazMat, medical, etc.) meets quarterly to ensure Chester County businesses, schools and families are ready and have practiced for any type of emergency situation--from a natural disaster to a chemical spill.  

Chamber members David Williamson from Omnova Solutions and Wendy Lawson from Coatex are the newly elected Chair and Vice Chair of the LEPC.  Both Mr. Williamson and Ms. Lawson invite all local businesses to participate in these important and informative planning meetings--the next LEPC meeting is October 20th and anyone may attend.
