As Sacramento's leader of bold, thought-provoking theatre, Capital Stage created Playwrights' Revolution, our annual new works festival, to identify and develop new plays and playwrights. Each year, a handful of never-been-produced-plays are carefully selected from hundreds of submissions and presented as staged readings with Capital Stage professionals.

Audience favorite, and Nationally touring Solo Artist, Comedienne Katie Rubin returns to Capital Stage. Katie's pushy producer, Stan, is riding her to create a new show for production in L.A. Katie is eager to please, and excited to succeed. It just so happens, she is also  dying ... spiritually.
