Invitation to Local Employers

Ready to transform your workplace into a healthy environment? The Partnership for Better Health is inviting up to 20 employers to participate in our Wellness@Work (W@W) initiative.

Matching grant awards of up to $1,000 are available to support local employers that join with us to launch simple activities within their workplaces, helping employees become more productive and live longer. Our W@W initiative introduces partners to no-cost and low-cost strategies that promote employee nutrition, physical activity and tobacco cessation.

3 WAYS TO PARTNER WITH US

*Tier 1 : Nonprofit or for-profit companies with 20 or fewer employees are eligible to receive matching grants of $500 from the foundation.  Participating organizations are asked to designate a $250 match, establishing a total pool of $750 to carry out at least two new Promotional Wellness Activities and two new Policy/Practice/Environmental Strategies.

*Tier 2 : Nonprofit or for-profit companies with 21 or more employees are eligible to receive matching grants of $1,000 from the foundation. The organization is asked to designate a $500 match, establishing a total pool of $1,500 to carry out at least four new Promotional Wellness Activities and four new Policy/Practice/Environmental Strategies.

Tier 3 : Nonprofit and for-profit companies also have the option to participate in this initiative at no cost. You will be introduced to workplace wellness activities and able to benefit from the learning collaborative. The company is asked to conduct at least one new Promotional Wellness Activity and one new Policy/Practice/Environmental Strategy.

*Tiers 1 and 2 are limited to employers in the foundation's service area. Tier 3 is open to all employers.

Participating partners are asked to attend three W@W meetings and complete a simple year-end survey.
