Jaw Dropping! Oh yeah, I'll go there.
I want you to know about some events coming up. This week is rather quiet but I think we're resting before the next six weeks and the amazing things we have going on!
A few new books on hand, some great summer weather and a lot of fun are in store.
Art & Soul is coming up and we'll be open both days, but just outside the fence. The best thing to do that weekend, August 20 & 21 is to take Bart or a bus to us.
Take a look at the events we have listed down below. Sunday this week we have a community meeting with Barbers, Books, and Bridges for them to talk about books for the black and brown community.
Next week we have an event for any manager, school administrator, or person who feels like a fish out of water with two authors who want to help everyone work well together. Then we have an event for writers and getting their online presence together with Fauzia Burke. We still have 5 seats left in that one and the price of admission comes with the book.
At long last the Latham Square project is nearing completion.
There will be a ribbon cutting at noon 7/28 and then from 5-8 a number of surrounding merchants will be on the square. Which is actually a triangle. But the whole area is looking great! Please come by!
Next time in be sure to check out the bulletin board for some music, classes and other gatherings of interest.
