LO300/600 Challenge Kicks-Off with a Party on the Patio!!

All racers and PCYC members and guests are invited to come on out and join the party on Friday, July 15th.

Check in early and then enjoy the entertaining sound of steel drums with Joy Lapps throughout the afternoon. The evening will include an amazing BBQ starting at 5:00 pm, followed by the Skipper's Meeting at 7:00 pm, with outstanding meteorologist Ron Bianchi. Then beginning at 8:00 pm there will be live entertainment from 'Tamin Thunder' and many great door prizes throughout the evening. So, stick around!

Once again this year we will have a number of our sponsors present on site at PCYC in support of this Challenge and we thank them all. Drop by to say hello to the folks from DriveHG.ca, our title sponsor, and find out about the special car discount for LO300/600 racers. Check out the Fogh Boat Supplies booth to pick up your last minute items, and don't forget to bring in and drop off your old sail at GA-OH to receive a 10% discount on all onsite purchases.

Don't forget your camera! You could win one of 12 prizes of Gold Vehicle Detailing Packages valued at up to $159.95. See the details at LO300 Great Lakes Photo Contest presented by driveHG.ca

Non-members who are planning on driving to PCYC, see the special note below about car parking during the LO300/600.

See you on the 15th.

Canada Border Services Agency - NEW for 2016: Pre-registration of travel information:
To help ensure minimal wait times for private boat owners/operators reporting their entry or re-entry into Canada using the CBSA Telephone Reporting Centre (TRC), CBSA recommend that you pre-register your personal and travel document information in advance. See Reporting Requirements for Private Boaters.

Still Time to Register! How about the Scotch Bonnet?

Have you considered the Scotch Bonnet course? If a 300 nautical mile tour of the far eastern regions of Lake Ontario is a bit out of reach, take a look at the shorter (190 nautical miles) Scotch Bonnet challenge. This years' fleet has a variety of cruising and racing boats including; Beneteaus, C&Cs, Hunters, Catalinas and a few Nonsuch vessels. Some competitors fly spinnakers but many enjoy the unique racing experience with white sail only. Come on out and join the fun!

And, if you haven't registered due to lack of crew, don't let your boat stay at the dock! There are a number of highly qualified crew looking for an opportunity to race on your boat. Check it out - see Crew/Boat Board: Crew Bank.
