July brings Myda Iamiceli to the Weir Farm Artist-in-Residence program. Her work focuses on a video project about the experiences of second-generation Cuban-Americans. The project shows a different point of view, that of the child of the immigrant. Using the natural beauty of Connecticut as inspiration, she has created works to augment her video project. Co-sponsored by Weir Farm Art Center and Weir Farm National Historic Site and presented by Wilton Library. More info & register

Transform an old skateboard into a piece of artwork with a little inspiration from the masters -- Picasso, van Gogh, Dali, Monet and more. This is a 2-day workshop for teens entering grades 6-12.
