When you upgrade to RMA version 6.2.2 R2, you must sign up for CMC to use email and other features. First, access Modules > Customer Message Centre > Manage My CMC Points. There you will see a space where you can enter the promo code "FREE-EMAIL" in order to get started. This gives you a no charge set of starter points so you can test this cool feature.
This does not cost you a dime and it automatically gives you access to sending general emails. In version R3, we will have reminders in place to make you aware that you are not signed up and will have restricted access to email until you do so!
Once you sign up, you will want to go to the customer information screen and send a test message. Choose a customer and enter a test email address in the designated area. Click the envelope icon above the email address, type a message and click send! If the message goes through you know you are signed up and ready to go.
