I've always considered myself a pretty practical person. I was raised to work hard, be kind to others, and have faith. These values have served me well and I've rarely questioned them. I put more stock in setting goals and working my plan than "wishing and hoping" things would turn out okay. But in the past month, four different people have mentioned the concept of "setting intentions" to me and I came across this article on the same topic. Is there something to putting your intentions out there to help you get what you want and need in your life?
I don't know if I have the answer to that question but it's worth checking out and maybe even giving it a try.

Setting Goals Isn't Enough: Setting Daily Intentions Will Change Your Life.
Summer is a time to recharge, change gears, rethink your goals and priorities (set new intentions?) and say
thank you to those who have enriched our lives. I am grateful to our
volunteers for all they offer on behalf of TTN. We would be nowhere our
Board of Directors who not only provide support but dig in and deliver the goods. And I'm proud of our
Staff who enthusiastically learn and do their best every day to support our members.
My best to all of you. Happy Summer!
