Redevelopment Underway on former UA Theater Property in Westchester 
United Development Company has begun redevelopment of the former UA Theater in Grand Prairie located on the southeast corner of Westchester Parkway and Carrier Parkway.  The site is being transformed into a 60,000-square-foot retail center featuring Starbucks, R Taco, Panera, a national grocer, and other retailers.
Farmers Market to Host Craft Fair Day and More on July 16 
Join us at the Grand Prairie Farmers Market 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, July 16, for the 2nd Craft Fair Day of the 2016 season. In addition to our weekly farmers and vendors, a number of craft vendors will be onsite selling homemade crafts, jewelry, art, woodwork, lawn art, and much more.

Plus, be sure to visit Master Chef Jr. 2014 Contestant Jessica Stephen at her lemonade, tea and cookie stand, which will be raising funds to be donated to the families of the fallen Dallas police officers.

John Dosher, our neighborhood Piano Guy, will be performing on the stage from 10 a.m. to noon.   
Grand Prairie Farmers Market at Market Square, 120 W. Main St., is open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays from late March through mid-December and features locally grown fruits and vegetables, plants, tamales, baked goods, salsas, dips, relishes, eggs, honey, chips, soaps, candles and more.
