July Update
  From the Executive Director:
Greetings from Swanzey Lake!   I am approaching the two week mark in my new role as Executive Director.  I have been busy meeting with staff and watching Pilgrim Pines in action.  I have also been meeting with members of our Pilgrim Pines family.  I have hosted a number of scheduled visits in my office and have enjoyed many casual conversations on the beach, building relationships with as many of you as possible is priority one for me.  As we move forward together in camp ministry, I need to know what is on your hearts as concerns our beloved ministry.   Please don't be bashful about stopping by, sending me an email or giving me a call to share your hopes and dreams for Pilgrim Pines.  I plan to be right here at camp for most of the summer.  Once the camping season is behind us, I hope to be out and about visiting churches throughout the conference.

As I reflect on my life long relationship with Pilgrim Pines, I see so many things that are unaffected by time: the inviting solitude of lakeside devotionals; the joy on the faces of our children as they run around the beach front; the smell of campfire smoke coming from the camp ground; the sound of the Squanto bell; the roar of children singing in the Rec Hall; most importantly, the closeness we all feel to God while we are here.  These are truly timeless things, the very things that keep us coming back year after year.  For these things, I am grateful.

Let us together give thanks for the blessing of Pilgrim Pines on our lives.  I ask that you keep our beloved ministry in your prayers as we embark on new initiatives, projects and programs.  While we face many challenges, we are empowered by the enduring spirit of Pilgrim Pines and the counsel experienced through the Holy Spirit.

Blessings on each and every one of you.

Scott Lee
Executive Director

Breaking Ground

We are excited to report that we have broken ground on a new bunk house in the camping area.  The new bunk house will be located at site A16.  Our sincere thanks to our ECC church in Attleboro, MA for spearheading and funding this project.  We are grateful for their partnership in ministry.  This is just an example of what we can do together!!

  Summer 2016
Camp Squanto 2016
It has been a tremendous season thus far at Camp Squanto! Our campers have enjoyed big games, waterfront, climbing tower, zip-line, challenge course, arts and crafts, camp store, great meals, crazy skits, but even more importantly, amazing worship, skill development and great fun with friends & cabin mates. Each week of camp we invite age-appropriate guest speakers to come and talk to the campers about their faith. Music is led by the summer staff and is always a crazy and moving experience. Camp Squanto campers love to sing! New for 2016 - zip line, new adventure course and Creative Arts Camp!

Many families say that their week at Mayflower Family Camp is a hybrid between a traditional New England summer camp and a fun filled, memory making family vacation. Mayflower Family Camp creates a unique oasis for adults and children alike. Parents can choose to participate in morning Christian education time with outstanding speakers from across the country while their kids learn new skills, discover Biblical lessons and share new experiences with their new friends. Everyone has the chance to develop an appreciation for new friendships and God's creation.

Financial Snapshot
We are happy to report that our Squanto enrollment is up significantly from 2015.  So far we are up 65 campers over 2015 and the summer is not over!

We have more good news!  Our overall enrollment is also trending up.  Our registration income is up 7% when compared to 6-30-15 and up 11% over 2016 budget goals.  GOD IS GOOD!!

As for our undesignated / operational giving, we are hoping to finish strong even though our results have been trending down for most of 2016.  As of 6-30-16, undesignated giving is down $47,232.80 (-19.3%) compared to 6-30-15.  As for our 2016 budget goals, giving is behind by $66,702 (-25.2%).   There is still time to finish strong as our fiscal year doesn't close until 9-30-16.  Please prayerfully consider fulfilling your pledged giving or becoming a first time donor!  Please feel free to reach out to our Executive Director Scott Lee directly should you be interested in exploring how best to join our donor family ( [email protected] /  603-352-0443).

Product and Service Donation
Imagine owning a home with hundreds of beds, 96 toilets, multiple electronics, multiple wifi locations, a fleet of vehicles, power equipment, etc.
As you can imagine it takes lots to keep the place going.
Pilgrim Pines is always looking for more partners in its ministry.  If you are interested in partnering with us, there are several ways you can contribute. Take a look at our product & services page for ways you can help. Or feel free to make a direct donation by clicking the DONATE button below.

Our hope is that you will continue to faithfully walk with us, as you have in the past.  So, we are asking you to please consider joining us on this journey with your gifts of talent, time, and treasure.

Volunteer Opportunities
Pilgrim Pines welcomes volunteers all year long
Whether you come by yourself, with your family or through a church group. We are blessed by volunteers who help in the kitchen, serve as weekend hosts, assist in the Mayflower office and work on maintenance projects.
We can really use some volunteer help now and into the fall as we are clearing some areas of overgrowth in the camping area.

Your church may even be interested in our " Adopt-a-Cabin" program. When a church adopts a cabin they commit to an annual donation toward its maintenance and often send a volunteer group to specifically tend to their cabin's needs.  Contact  Jim Condap  if your church is interested in volunteering or the Adopt-a-Cabin program.
