MEET DEBBEE HERNANDEZ
At the age of 14 in 2009, I made the 31-day journey by myself to the United States from El Salvador crossing half of El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, and the southern United States to Washington DC, where I reunited with my mother.
CALL-TO-ACTION OF THE MONTH
After ten years of providing successful workforce services, LAYC's Maryland division, the Maryland Multicultural Youth Centers (MMYC), lost federal funding for its free GED and job training programs for low-income youth in Montgomery County.

To continue offering life-changing opportunities to some 350 of the most vulnerable youth in the county, we must urgently raise $50,000 by the end of the summer.

Thank you for your support!
