CARU Stew Scones, a deliciously tasty treat.

Here's another great way to serve CARU Stews to you dog; give them a CARU Stew Scone.
Ingredients:
- One box of CARU stew (any flavor)
- One cup of all purpose flour (or use quinoa flour if your dog has food allergies)
- One egg
Directions:
- Pour one box of CARU stews into a bowl. Add in the egg and 1 cup of flour. Blend until just combined.
- Scoop out (with an ice cream scooper) onto a cookie sheet (lined with parchment paper).
- Bake in a preheated 350 degrees F oven for 30-35 minutes.
- Cool before serving, then, watch your dog enjoy!

Hello, my name is Karu and I am the inspiration behind CARU Pet Food. I'm also our Chief Taste Testing Officer (CTTO).
Well, it's summer vacay season. When I saw Mummas & Daddas packing up the car, I jumped right in as I am hoping this means some R & R for me! I work hard you know, being the CTTO is not an easy job but I guess some pups gotta do it.
If you are traveling with your furry children this summer, here are some great tips from the ASPCA:
- Prep your pet for a long trip. This means take us out for short car rides so we get used to going for journeys in the car.
- Bring your dog's rabies vaccination record with you, just in case you need it.
- Keep your pets safe and secure in a well-ventilated crate or carrier or in the back seat in a harness attached to a seat buckle.
- Prep a pet-friendly travel kit.
Bring food (CARU Stews and treats, of course ;D), a bowl, plenty of water, a leash, a waste scoop, plastic bags, grooming supplies, medication and first-aid, and any travel documents. Pack a favorite toy or pillow to give your pet a sense of familiarity. I always like getting a new one too when I get to my final destination.
- Never leave your animal alone in a parked vehicle. On a hot day, even with the windows open, a parked automobile can become a furnace in no time, and heatstroke can develop. In cold weather, a car can act as a refrigerator, holding in the cold and causing the animal to freeze to death.
