The Don Knotts statue ceremony is going to take place Saturday, July 23, 2016, 10AM at the Metropolitan theater, Morgantown West Virginia, Dad's hometown!  I will be there to do my show,
''A Deputy's Daughter' at 11:30 AM inside the Met theater.

Don has so many fans in the celebrity world! Some of the people Dad humbly mentioned were fans of his: Jim Carrey, Seth Green, Conan O'Brien, Billy Bob Thornton, Patton Oswald, Reese Witherspoon, and many many more...

Now he's getting a statue dedicated to him erected in his own hometown.  What an honor to the man who continues to be loved and make people laugh... ten years after his passing.

It goes to show that NICE GUYS don't always finish last.  Sometimes they come in FIRST!
Meet devoted DON KNOTTS FAN,  
LINDA GREEN!
LINDA'S brother Dan Malone, wrote to me: "We have been to Mt. Airy twice together....  Your Dad was so important to her, and everyone knows it, that the people that she works with gave her cards of condolences and 
flowers when your Dad died." Her birthday is July 14th, just one week before Don Knotts' birthday (July 21). Happy Birthday Don and Linda!
