Athletes of the Animal Kingdom

With this interactive, educational and entertaining program, families will encounter a diversity of creatures with amazing athletic skills. We'll meet frogs that furiously unfurl their tongues to catch insects and giant prey, lizards that mark their territory with vigorous push-ups, rabbits that escape predators by sprinting, and birds that can fly formidable distances! 
 
Teen Book Discussion

Brain Food Cooking Demonstration

What we eat plays a major role in overall health. Come learn about some key menu items for boosting memory and brain function with Carley Baulick, Registered Dietician at the Shop Rite of Monroe. There will be a cooking demonstration and tastings for all. Seating is limited.

Amazing Orange Scavenger Hunt!           

July 5th - August 12th
 
Orange County Libraries are seeking patrons and teams for the Amazing Orange Libraries Summer Scavenger Hunt. The program is open to all Orange County residents. Teams of one to four persons complete gameboards for eligibility to win amazing gift card prizes. Each team must have a leader who is a library card holder and 18 years and older. Alphabet Soup           
Mondays at 10:30am
July 11th - August 1st     
Ages 3-5 years old
A first "on my own" program for children. Listen to stories, complete crafts, play games, and have fun.  
 
ROCK-THE-BLOCK LEGO Club          
Wednesdays 4-6:00pm, July 6th - 27th    
Kids entering Grades K-5 
Wednesday afternoons are filled with LEGO bricks and upbeat music to build by! Rock-the-Block is free and registration is NOT required. Swing by anytime between 4-6:00pm.
 
 
Creation Station          
Thursdays 5-7:00pm, July 7th - 28th    
Children of all ages
Stop in the children's room and make a craft. All supplies will be provided and teen volunteers on hand to help smaller children. No registration needed.   
 
Romp & Stomp           
Fridays 10:30am, July 8th - 29th    
Ages 1-3 years old
A playgroup for tots and their caregivers. Children will enjoy finger plays, music, and stories.
