MAUI2MOLOKAI CHALLENGE
Thursday 21st July.
We will be meeting at Laiulaokai Canoe Club at Kanaha Beach Park, Maui on Thursday 21st July. Late registration will be from 1-5pm.
We have our Kupuna Uncle Mac Poepoe to speak with everyone at 5pm about out protocol here on Molokai when it comes to the ocean
We will also have our safety briefing then and we encourage everyone to watch the video. The video will be coming out shortly but before Thursday. The video is mandatory along with the cultural protocol video. Videos will be posted on our website Supmolokai.org

WE ARE NOT DOING BEACH ENTRIES. DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS FRIDAY.
Staggered Starts starting at 8.30pm based on conditions. Beach start is our first choice but again the weather conditions will dictate.

Transportation will be provided to local accommodations from One Alli Beach Park, Alii Fishpond, Hotel Molokai, Molokai Shores and homes within the 5 mile radius of Paddlers Inn.
For those staying for the M4Molokai race we will be supplying transportation to your accommodations. We will have trailers at the harbor to load up your boards. We will be storing boards at Hotel Molokai for the race the next day.
We will supply free storage if you stay for M4Molokai for those racing in the M2O which is at least a $40 savings if shipping your board for the race. If you are doing both of our races we will deliver to Kaluakoi at no charge so again more savings.
For those not racing the M4Molokai we do have container storage for the M2O for $50. Please supply your straps and board bags. We are not liable for damages.
We still have camping options at both County Park and Alii Fishpond. Alii fishpond is a little more but the location is awesome.

All Other Islands- $25.00/person a night
Out of state- $35.00/person a night

Race starts at 3.30pm due to tides and the fast racers should be finished by 4.30pm. The slower paddlers we are estimating about 5.30pm
We have three courses: Advanced Kamalo Buoy to Hotel Molokai outside of reef 8.5m Intermediate Kamalo Harbor to Hotel Molokai inside of reef 8.5m Beginners Rice Patch to Hotel Molokai 2.5m
11.30 on - Boards to be shuttled to Kamalo along with first shuttles - We are supplying shuttles to those that need
