United Way advances the common good by creating opportunities for a better life for all.  Our focus is on education, income and health -- the building blocks for a good quality of life.  United Way recruits people and organizations who bring the passion, expertise and resources needed to get things done.  We invite you to be a part of the change.  You can give, you can advocate and you can volunteer.  That's what it means to LIVE UNITED.
Leadership Introduction

Robert Starkey, Director of Marketing
Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to read the July issue (No. 38) of our monthly newsletter.

Are YOU looking to Volunteer?
Is your organization looking for Volunteers?

We have a lot of great things happening here at River Cities United Way - the newest which we are most excited about is a website which connects Volunteers and Volunteer Opportunities together.  The undertaking started on April 5th and has been through BETA testing by RCUW Staff, and Volunteers from our Advisory Committee and our Marketing Committee.

So, I'm going to open up this months newsletter by saying....
NOW LIVE!

We need your to help to build up this community resource - here's how:

1) Create an account on the Mohave / La Paz Volunteer Portal website.  This will allow us to notify you of volunteer opportunities as they are added to the calendar.

2) If you have events coming up where you need volunteers, create an account then click the "Become a Calendar Partner" and we'll upgrade your access so that you can add events and get connected with interested volunteers!

There is no cost to use this service.
