Take the Disabilities Survey
Yankton has a new non-profit resource group that is interested in your input regarding your needs, the needs of businesses, and the needs of the Yankton community for individuals with disabilities.  The State has resource centers in other communities across the state.  We appreciate that they are offering Yankton this opportunity to provide feedback.  The information gathered in the following survey will be used to develop services and expand support to assist businesses in Yankton to hire individuals with disabilities.  THIS SURVEY WILL TAKE 1-2 MINUTES to COMPLETE.   Please feel free to share this with your contacts and your supervisory staff.  They are hoping to gather as many responses as possible.  Thank you -

Businesses on Hwy 50/4th Street Construction
Every Tuesday, weekly construction meetings will be held at 9 am at the Yankton Chamber of Commerce to discuss updates on the Hwy 50 project.  Businesses are invited to attend to hear about the progress.  If you are unable to attend, updates are available at  www.sddot.com .
Businesses BEWARE!
The Chamber has received word that counterfeit $100 bills have been passed at businesses along I-29.   The $100.00 bill is the older style, not the newer style.  Be on the look out for these bills and report them to local law enforcement if you feel you may have received one.
