Astor Young Professionals Board Donation

We cannot thank our Young Professionals Board (formerly, the Jr. Board), enough for all their hard work and dedication!! They raised over $20,000.00 for our Bronx children and their families. Nicole Giambarrese presented a check to our CEO, Dr. James McGuirk, and Board Chair, James Raimo, at a quarterly board meeting. - with Nicole Giambarrese.

Astor's Bronx Employee Picnic

In celebration of the hard work our employees do, our Bronx programs had a year-end employee picnic at our Lawrence F. Hickey Center for Child Development. Lots of games, food and laughs were had throughout the day. A great time was had by all!

donation of 100 tickets, some of Astor's clients and staff were treated to a day of fun and excitement!! As you can see from the smiles, a good time was had by all! Thank you Yankees!

We hope you are enjoying the wonderful days of summer thus far! We are so thankful to the New York Yankees and the Hudson Valley Renegades for giving our children, their families and staff, the opportunity to experience one of the many wonders of summer...enjoying a baseball game, through their donation of 240 tickets.
As our children are enjoying the summer, we are busy planning for all the amazing events in the coming year! Please mark your calendar for December 2 - for our Holiday Arts Festival, and be on the look-out for other activities. We would love to have you attend!

Thanks to a project called Abloom Astor had dozens of flowers donated as part of a pilot program for a weekly delivery of 30 arrangements July- through the peak growing season. Abloom partners with local organizations and institutions that provide residential services, such as group homes, senior centers and prisons. Many Thanks to organizers Marla Walker and Marina Michahelles of Shoving Leopard Farm for this honor.
