Access 2016 Early Bird Rate Extended

Access is Canada's premier library technology conference that brings librarians, technicians, developers, programmers, and managers together to discuss cutting-edge library technologies.

Culture Days Grant Applications Due July 29

Must be received by July 29, 2016 to be  considered
 
Need help funding your Culture Days Program? The Saskatchewan Library Association is offering ten $200 grants to Saskatchewan member libraries to help celebrate Culture Days. Applications will be juried by members of the Culture Days Committee, and all decisions will be final. 

Please note: Culture Days Grants are not intended to pay for library equipment, staff wages or books except where specific books relate to a Culture Days presentation or event.SLA will pay exact costs, with receipts up to $200. Continuing Education Grant Applications
 Due August 15


The Grants are open to individual and institutional members and can be used for personal continuing education opportunities or to develop a workshop or event for other SLA members. 

Call for Maureen Woods Education Bursary Applications - Due October 30, 2016

The Saskatchewan Library Association (SLA) is pleased to accept applications for the Maureen Woods Education Bursary.  The bursary was established to promote the continued growth of professional librarianship in the province of Saskatchewan. SLA is offering a single bursary in the amount of $5,000.00.
