ACTION ALERT ON 2 ITEMS:
NEA FUNDING & US DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION REGULATIONS
PLEASE ACT NOW on these two important items:
National Endowment for the Arts has been proposed for an increase by the President, and the increase was approved in the House Interior Subcommittee, chaired by Rep. Ken Calvert.  It is now being considered as part of the larger Interior bill, and it is a critical time to express support.  You can do this through a quick & easy e-mail form here.
U.S. Department of Education has left out "the arts" from the federal education bill. You can easily send a comment using an online form asking them to restore the language. Details here.
