Oliver's Vegetables  by Vivian French
This week's Story Time at HLFM features Oliver's Vegetables by Vivian French. With a bit of help from his grandfather, Oliver discovers more food beyond French fries. Story Time is for ages 3 to 8, but children of all ages are welcome to attend with their parents and grandparents. Story Time starts at 9 am.

Veggie Valet at the Market

For those of you who need a little help getting your produce and melons from the G.H.P. Smith Park Saturday market to your car at Shields and Lewes School Parking Lots we have added a Veggie Valet. Our young friends, Lilly and Henry, will help you take your purchases to your car in our carts. They are stationed at the Market at the end of the walk from the parking lots, and are happy to help you.
15 Minute Pasta!
Burst Cherry Tomato Pasta
1 pound pasta (spaghetti works just fine!)
Kosher salt
½ cup olive oil
2 large cloves garlic, finely chopped
3 pints cherry tomatoes
½ teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Pinch of sugar
1 cup coarsely chopped fresh basil
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water, stirring occasionally, until al dente; drain and transfer to a large bowl. Meanwhile, heat oil in a 12" skillet or wide heavy saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic, then cherry tomatoes, pepper, sugar, pepper and one teaspoon salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, until tomatoes burst and release their juices to form a sauce, in 6 to 8 minutes. Toss pasta with cherry tomato sauce and basil. Top with Parmesan and enjoy!
