These two great children's authors/illustrators are doing a signing at The Hickory Stick Bookshop together, and you have two chances to meet the men behind some of your favorite stories! They'll be here on Saturday, July 16th - once from 11:30am-12:30pm and then they're coming back at 2pm for a second signing! We hope to see you at one (or even both) of them!
Where's Waldo in Washington Depot?
Waldo is back in town this July, and this year he's on Instagram, too! As usual, he'll be hiding in businesses all over town, and we'll need you to find him in every location! If you can,
you could win prizes at our party on July 29th - and you could meet the master of Hide and Seek in person! CALLING ALL HARRY POTTER FANS! -- The Hickory Stick Bookshop will host a midnight release party on Saturday, July 30th at 10pm for the new Harry Potter story, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the script of the play by the same name set nineteen years after the seventh novel in the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Fans of all ages are invited to enjoy themed games, activities, and refreshments before lining up to purchase the script at midnight. Pre-orders are being taken and are highly encouraged. Books will be sold to customers in the order that they were reserved, so the sooner you place your order, the sooner you get your copy!
