As I write this, the Fellows year for 2014-15 is coming to an end and we will be graduating 21 Fellows from the Year 1 Fellows curriculum. Add these to the Fellows who have graduated in the four previous years and over 90 Fellows are now serving the Kingdom from Annapolis to Baltimore, Belfast, Shanghai, Beijing, Laos and many points in between.
I am delighted to report that we have 19 Year-2 Fellows and 19 Year-1 Fellows underway with their studies for the 2015-16 Fellows year. Add the mentors to these numbers and we will have over 50 people participating in the Fellows Program for 2015-16.
Numbers should never be the sole measure of success, but I am grateful that so many of our past Fellows are encouraging others to participate in this life-transforming discipleship course. It is life-transforming not because of our mentors, speakers, or curriculum, but because our Fellows are drawn to this program by the Spirit (vs recruited) and then the program encourages them to surrender to the work of the Spirit in their lives Who does the transformational work.
As events for this CSLI year are winding down, we are planning some major events in the fall to include Ravi Zacharias (September 20/21), and Ken Boa (Nov 19-22). So mark your calendars and watch this space for more information later in the summer.
