HPS Exhibiting at Solar Power International 2016
HPS has been confirmed as an exhibitor in the 2016 Solar Power International (SPI) event, to be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV on Sept. 12-15.
SPI is considered to be the premier event for professionals in the solar energy and related industries. It is the fastest growing and largest solar show in North America, as recognized by Trade Show Executive and Trade Show News Network. The four-day event will feature more than 100 education sessions, and will focus on technologies in solar and PV.
HPS will be located in the North Hall, Booth #3378. Be sure to come and see us!
We are looking forward to networking with the other 563 exhibitors already registered for the event, as well as the 15,000+ industry professionals expected to attend.

HPS Attending the 2016 PCIC Technical Conference
HPS will be attending the 2016 Petroleum and Chemical Industry Committee (PCIC) Technical Conference at the Philadelphia Downtown Marriott in Philadelphia, PA on Sept. 19-22.
This event is an international forum for the exchange of electrical applications technology related to the petroleum and chemical industry.
The HPS hospitality suite will be open on Sept. 19-20. More details to come - keep an eye on our social media sites!

The HPS 2016 Customer Experience Survey is here!

New Product Drawings on the HPS Website:
Reactor Drawings:
Product drawings for all HPS Reactors are now available on the HPS website in PDF and DXF formats. STEP files will be available in the coming weeks.
Low Voltage Distribution Enclosure Drawings:
This feature has been added to each individual HPS
distribution product page.
Users are able to use the drop-down selection menus to specify
transformer phase, winding type, and primary and secondary voltage
. Once these selections are complete, a table will appear with possible transformer options and the corresponding PDF, DXF, and STEP file for each unit.

Control Product Drawings Coming Soon:
Product drawings for HPS Control products are expected to be available before the end of Q3. These drawings will also be available in PDF, DXF and STEP file formats.

Coming Soon: HPS Partner Resource Updates
HPS E-Quotes Update
HPS is in the process of upgrading our E-Quotes system. This updated version will feature performance improvements, the ability for users to add attachments, improved printing features and much more!
An announcement email will be sent to all current E-Quotes V2 users when E-Quotes V2.1 is ready to launch.
HPS Info Section Now Powered by SharePoint
The HPS Info section of the HPS Partner E-Portal is being updated to a SharePoint platform to provide users with additional features and capabilities. The new platform will be launched at the end of July.
The updated version will feature:
- a more visually appealing interface
- an easier navigation menu, with convenient navigation between E-Quotes and the HPS E-Portal
- enhanced search capabilities
- external links to the HPS Academy & HPS Toolbox

Hannover Messe 2016 Review
From April 25-29, 2016, Hammond Power Solutions (HPS) exhibited for the first time at Hannover Messe in Hannover, Germany.
As one of the approximate 5,200 exhibitors in the show, HPS showcased a variety of magnetic products, including a Cast Resin Transformer and a Water-Cooled Reactor in their almost 60 square meter booth. There was also a designated meeting space, where HPS held a number of meetings throughout the duration of the show with some exciting new potential customers.
This opportunity was an important step towards building the HPS brand in Europe and globally.
Hannover Messe is referred to as the world's most important industrial event, with five leading international trade fairs occurring simultaneously under one roof. This year, an impressive 190,000 professionals attended, with a large increase in international attendees.
HPS plans to attend Hannover Messe 2017 on April 24-28, 2017.

Obsolescence Reminders
HPS would like to remind our customers and partners that all RM Reactor and NEMA premium products are now obsolete. These products have been replaced with HPS Centurion R and HPS DOE Products, respectively.
These changes will be reflected in the new HPS price files, as well as on the IDW.

HPS Europe Website Updates Reflect Global Strategy
Russian content has now been added to the HPS Europe website. With this latest update, the website has now been translated into four languages; German, Spanish, Italian and Russian.
By broadening our language selection on communication platforms, HPS is able to build and maintain relationships with international customers and partners.

Q1 Results Announced:
On May 3, 2016, HPS announced our financial results for the first quarter of 2016. Highlights include a 65% increase in international sales, relative to Q1 in 2015.
"I am pleased to report that our Quarter 1, 2016 performance exceeded our expectations in these challenging economic times. The Company attained increases in both sales and margin, compared to the same quarter a year ago."

Quarterly Cash Dividend Announced:
On June 3, 2016, the HPS Board of Directors declared quarterly cash dividends of six cents per Class A Subordinate Voting Share of HPS, and six cents per Class B Common Share of HPS.

HPS Efficiency Calculator Updates
HPS is in the process of updating our Efficiency Calculator tool to provide users with an improved interface and additional capabilities. Users will be able to use an existing application profile, or enter their own unique project details before calculating.
O
nce the calculations are complete, users will have the ability to:
- Print their results
- Save results as a PDF or XML file
- Request to be contacted by HPS Customer Service
(who will be able to view their project profile).
HPS Buck-Booster Selector Enhancements
A new and improved version of the HPS Buck-
Boost
Selector is set to launch during Q3. Users will be able to input their supply voltage and supply phase, which will allow them to choose the actual load voltage and kVA. The Buck-Boost selector will then produce a results page that will contain part numbers, quantities required, buck-boost configuration and specifications.
