New Member Social held at The Landing
The Summer New Member Social was held Tuesday, July 12 at The Landing with a great crowd in attendance.

Several new members to the Chamber displayed their business products and spoke with attendees about their company.

Nakita Maddox from Cornerstones Learning Center was the lucky winner of the $50 Chamber Bucks.

For more pictures from the social , check out our facebook page
Below is some feedback from a couple of our new members about the social:

I really enjoyed the event.  It had a neat set up with the barrels and the lit up background. I loved it!!  It was fun getting to meet other new members and people of the Community, talking about our product in the Vet Shack.  I also met 2 potential customers.
Jackie Eichenberger, NorthWest Veterinary and Supply

Thanks!  I thought the event was great.  My background is in working in education, so networking and getting the word out about what I do is relatively new to me.  The New Member Social was a great opportunity to start making connections in a relaxed environment.  I enjoyed being able to talk to other Chamber members one-on-one to see what needs Cornerstones can meet.  I'd recommend other new Chamber members get involved in the next New Member Social.

CVB and NFAA host World Archery group
The Yankton CVB and the NFAA Easton Archery Complex had the opportunity to host a FAM tour for staff from World Archery.  They arrived in Yankton July 3 and were here for 5 days.  They were able to spend time here in Yankton before heading to the Black Hills for a few days.  It was fun to entertain them in our great state and show them even more reasons why hosting events in Yankton is a great idea!
