Succulents like the dry humidity and warm conditions found in most homes, and while they like direct light, they can adapt to lower light. They all prefer a fast-draining potting medium that is not watered too often. Allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings in the summer. During the winter dormancy, keep the soil fairly dry. Remember at any time with Succulents - less is better than too much! As these plants are slow growing, they require little fertilizer. It is best to fertilize once in the summer with a balanced 10-10-10 fertilizer. During our Westcoast winter low light conditions, give them as much light as possible.
