Happy 4th of July
In the last few months, I have especially enjoyed meeting community organizations that have a passion for Chester County and are committed to improving the quality of life for those who live and work within these borders.  This week Chamber member Walt Whitman of MCON Construction invited me to attend the monthly meeting of the Progressive Association of Chester County Communities, an organization based in Richburg that serves the entire county.  PACCC is one of many service-oriented groups working towards the same goals as our Chamber.  From raising funds for scholarships to beautifying Exit 65, this group is eager to make a positive difference in the county.  Service organizations, churches and not-for-profits are a vital part of Chester County.  As we celebrate our nation's many freedoms and blessings, what better way to "pay it forward" than to volunteer with such a group!
Happy 4th of July! -Brooke Clinton

They also help unwanted pets find safe new homes.  They have a great staff of ladies all dedicated to the care and needs of pets.
