7/14 How to Create an Effective Pitch
Learn how to set the stage, tell the story, have an ask and Win the prize. Presentors will have you working in groups to really get you thinking about a clear objective, layout, planned outcome, and supporting details. In addition, the second part of the presentation will work on how to do a pitch via video for competitions such as "Swim with the Sharks Video Pitch Competition".

7/19 SBDC event: Work Directly with Cyber Experts on your Small Business Cyber Strategy
We're putting a spin on all the recent cyber security workshops targeted to small businesses! Join us on July 19 to work with a cyber security expert on your small business' cyber security strategy. We're limiting the amount of presentation time to maximize opportunity to work in small groups, each with your own local cyber security expert at the table.

7/26 Getting a 360 Degree Perspective of your Business - A Growth Wheel Series
Attendees will participate in a hands-on workshop introducing the Growth Wheel toolkit.  This workshop introduces the Growth Wheel Framework and participants will take home a 360 degree tool, worksheets with key decisions, and a 30-60-90 Day Action Plan

8/2 Are you a Leader or a Manager?
Participate in an active discussion of "What are the distinct differences between a manager and a leader? Many are given opportunities to lead in different roles in their life. What is involved and how does one begin the journey to master leadership?

The official launch of the Swim with the Sharks Video Pitch Competition program has begun. 

Part of the SWTS Program are:
  • 2 business education events that are open to the public

These two business education events will help any potential entry to hopefully win the prize.
