Electronic Business Newsletter, June 2016

Midway through the summer of 2016, the signs of change and growth are obvious in Anderson Township. Significant construction at the core of the business district in Anderson continues, highlighted by the upcoming completion of a new patient tower at Mercy Health-Anderson Hospital and redevelopment at the Anderson Towne Center and adjacent Kroger-owned properties. These projects are part of nearly a dozen public and private improvements, totaling over $165 million in investment, which will transform the landscape of the Beechmont and Five Mile area over the next year.

We'll talk further about these developments during our upcoming fall or winter newsletters. For now, we'd like to shift the focus of this edition to other recent additions to our business community.

We welcome these new businesses to our community and are excited how they will help ensure Anderson Township remains one of Greater Cincinnati's most desirable communities to live, work and play!

Sincerely,

Andrew S. Pappas, Trustee President
Joshua S. Gerth , Vice President
R. Dee Stone , Trustee
Kenneth G. Dietz , Fiscal Officer

Skyline Chili getting brand new digs, including a drive through lane

An updated Skyline Chili location is on the horizon for Anderson Township, with a new two-story building planned for the local franchise in the 7100 block of Beechmont Avenue. The site is the former location of Kunkels/Mercy Health, Concord Custom Cleaners and Lake's Pet Design/D&P Shoe Repair, which were torn down in May. The site is also next door to the current Skyline Anderson location.
Ron Rosen and Gary Holland are owners of this Skyline location. Rosen noted that Skyline's current location will be open throughout construction which will provide a seamless transition into the new building. Rosen and Holland have owned the Anderson location since 2007.
"Since 1962, Anderson Skyline has provided delicious Cincinnati chili to generations of Anderson Township residents. We are thrilled to present a new, larger, yet cozy Skyline restaurant with a drive through to continue this great tradition," Rosen said.
