Rowley Library seeks nominations for Human Libraries

people-outside.jpg
Libraries educate, inspire, and entertain. They are full of stories and cultures and places that we can experience without leaving Rowley. We are lucky to have people in our community like that too. People who enrich our lives as much as all the resources available through the Massachusetts Library System and Rowley Public Library.

Who is your human library? Someone who entertains with their stories, educates with their knowledge, and inspires with their experience and advice.

In honor of our 125th anniversary, the Rowley Public Library is honoring these unique people.

Nominate someone who is part of the Rowley and/or Triton Community to be your Human Library. Your nominee will receive a copy of your nomination and a certificate honoring their contribution to community. Nominations will be on view at the Library during the month of August. Your nominees will also be invited to the Library's Birthday Party in August and presented their certificate then.

The deadline for nomination is July 29. For more information, call the Rowley Public Library at 978-948-2850. Click here to download the nomination form as a pdf.
Save the date! The Rowley Library is having a birthday party on Saturday August 20! All are invited!
