Social Media Scavenger Hunt Returns
Charge up those smart phones! On Friday, July 15, teams of up to four people will compete for prizes in the second annual #DowntownBtown Social Media Scavenger Hunt. Registration will be $40 per team online at GreaterBurlington.com. Check in is at The Washington, 306 Washington, beginning at 5 PM. Teams will figure out clues to different locations, snap a selfie, and upload it to the event Facebook page. If you don't join a team, join us at The Washington to watch the event progress online in real time, projected on the big screen!

Vintage Market Coming Soon!
If you're looking for antiques, vintage-inspired décor, repurposed items, handcrafted goods, architectural salvage, primitives, food or beverages, then we we've got an event for you! A Very Vintage Market will be held on Jefferson Street during Sidewalk Sales on Saturday, July 16. Along with dozens of vendors, we'll have food and live music, too. Indulge your passion to reuse, remake and restyle!

SnakeBall
How cool would it be to race balls down Snake Alley? Here's your chance to find out! Downtown Partners will hold the sixth annual SnakeBall event on Saturday, July 16 at 9 AM. You can purchase your numbered Burlington Bees ball for $10 that morning at the top of Snake Alley. Be sure to bring the kids to meet Bees players and get autographs, too. The winner is the ball that makes it the farthest down the Alley - open to all ages, with no special skill required. There are prizes in Downtown Dollars, along with a "Home Run" prize for farthest distance. And this year, the winner of SnakeBall gets to throw out the pitch at the Bees game that evening! Thanks to Ebert Supply for sponsoring this event.

Outdoor Movies Return to Downtown
Looking for a fun way to spend summer evenings with friends and family? Then grab a lawn chair and head down to the 5 & V - downtown Burlington's outdoor theater! Two more great movies will be shown on the side of Drake Hardware and Software at Fifth and Valley Streets this month. There's no admission for the events, though donations are accepted. The movies will start at dusk, but be sure to come down early for games and activities - and to pick out a choice spot. There will be snack and drink vendors on hand, too.
