Lead In!

The annual meeting of the TTL Board of Trustees, held earlier this month was, as usual, a fun and productive gathering.

While the details are not yet available, the Board is delighted to announce that Take The Lead is expanding its mission. This broadening of our scope will enable us to help more clients more quickly and for longer periods of time.

Ed Fojtik reports that the 50/50 raffle held at the Little Fort Kennel Club show was again a big success. This year's winner Risky Molnar generously donated half her share to Take The Lead and half to Little Fort KC. Many thanks. Ed also shared a lovely message from the winner of the 2015 raffle. She writes as follows:

"Just wanted you to know you are all angels! Two years ago this July 17^th I lost my husband to pancreatic cancer which incurred a lot of medical bills. U held this fab Take The Lead 50/50 raffle which I was blessed to win. This same raffle provided the cash that fixed my dog van generator which failed the week after your drawing. Thank you soooo much for holding this great drawing and show." We're always happy when we can help folks!

Take The Lead has lost one of our own. Long-time Board member Harriette Borsuch recently passed away. Harriette will be missed, not only by TTL, but by her many friends coast-to-coast
