'16 Independence Day Celebration & Fireworks Spectacular
Don't miss it tomorrow night!
The weather looks fine for lots of fun for the whole family on the front lawn of Montgomery High School Thursday night at Montgomery's annual Independence Day Celebration!

Starting at 6 pm there will be games, entertainment, and vendors including grilled foods, drinks, and the ever-popular kettle corn and funnel cakes. Get there early to get a great picnic spot under the stars!

Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy the sounds of a popular music band,  "Just Duet - with Friends" playing at 7:00 pm on the mobile stage. There will also be a warm-up band this year at 6:00 pm -  "Perfectly Sharp" - a seasoned jazz quintet from Montgomery High School's own jazz band.  After the Star Spangled Banner at dusk (approx. 9:15 pm), there will be a spectacular display of patriotic fireworks, sure to bring out the kid in everyone. This year's grand finale is rumored to be especially grand!
