Discover ways to make game play and technology applications more than simple skill-and-drill offerings, allowing you to look more deeply at differentiating activities offered to students. In this Make & Take workshop, you not only will learn how and why to use fact fluency games in your math workshop but also will create a set of 12 games to use in your K-6 classroom.
All materials--including items such as dice, number cards, chips, tokens, game pieces, spinners and more--will be provided. Teachers who have attended our Fact Fluency workshop in the past will find new games to expand their offerings.
Cost: $150 per teacher, includes breakfast, lunch and materials. Certificate available for professional development units earned.
