1. Is Your Nonprofit Impact-Investing Worthy?
U.S. Trust Survey of High Net Worth (HNW) Individuals
The NonProfit Times recently reported on a U.S. Trust survey of 684 individuals with investable assets of $3 million or more. The study found:
  • Impact investing is on the rise, particularly among women, Gen Xers and Millennials.
  • HNW folks are most interested in environmental causes.
  • HNW folks - particularly Gen Xers - believe nonprofits can improve the most in identifying and reporting on outcomes.
  • Impact investing does not appear to be at the expense of philanthropy among this cohort.
