Mark Koors, founding partner of AndyMark, Inc, is
retiring from the company June 30, 2016. Mark formed the company with partner Andy Baker in 2004. He is a graduate of General Motors Institute of Technology with dual degrees in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. He was employed for 35 years with GM/Delco/Delphi Electronics. He authored 20 US patents during his tenure. He was Vice President of AndyMark and served as Chief Engineer for 12 years, leading the design of several existing AndyMark products.

Mark has mentored Kokomo High School's TechnoKats
FIRST
Team 45 since 1997. He has volunteered at
FIRST
headquarters and has served as FTA at
FIRST
regional and district
events and the
FIRST
Championship
. He was awarded
FIRST
Volunteer of the Year at the 2007
FIRST
Championship
, and the Woodie Flowers Finalist Award at the 2006 Boilermaker Regional.
In his retirement, Mark plans to continue to work as a mentor on
FIRST
Team 45 and as a volunteer for
FIRST
. He is looking forward to expanding his work with his church's Haiti ministry, developing a new commercial windmill product, and spending time with his family especially his two grandsons.
