What does boldness look like?

What does proclaiming the Kingdom of God and the teachings of Jesus Christ "with all boldness and without hindrance" look like?

Raising a new generation of leaders
Challenging gun manufacturers.
Embracing veterans of war.
Coming out to your church.
Loving everyone.

These were some of the answers to that question lifted up for delegates to the 217th Annual Meeting of the Massachusetts Conference this weekend (June 17 - 18), as they were, again and again, encouraged to "be bold."

Delegates vote on welcoming immigrants; compensation and budget matters

Delegates to the Massachusetts Conference's 217th Annual Meeting this weekend (June 17 - 18) voted on welcoming immigrants and on a variety of matters related to clergy compensation and Conference finances.

Stewardship, justice awards presented

Gustafson award presented to Harters

Richard M. (Dick) Harter and Angelica (Gay) Harter were named co-recipients of the Andy Gustafson Award at the 217th Annual Meeting of the Massachusetts Conference on June 18.

2016 Haystack Award winners honored

The Justice and Witness Council presented two Haystack Awards at the Annual Meeting in recognition of exemplary work in the area of justice and charity.
