Hi Little Lambs Families!

Just a reminder that we have a Field Day planned for the Little Lambs this Sunday, June 26 from 4 - 7 PM. If you'd like to come, please be sure to visit the Sign Up Genius link below to RSVP, and to indicate if you can bring something:
http://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090f45aaa62aa75-little
Starting at 4:30 PM, we'll have field day games for the bigger kids (suggest Kinder and older) and some little tyke play as well. It will be a blast from our school past - three-legged race, sack race, egg toss, croquet contest, diving for eggs, Frisbee flip, ping pong blow, a jump rope competition and a rubber chicken throw. For the little ones, we'll have a treasure hunt in the sandbox behind the Parish Hall and a bowling contest.

We'll have medals for the first, second and third place winners in several of the big kid games, as well as special ribbons for everyone who participates. We will also have small prizes for the midway-style games. And the little tykes will get game treats as well.
The finale of the games will be a pinata whacking and candy scramble. Then, we'll head to the Hall for dinner (pizza and contributed sides). We'll have lemonade but please BYOB for adult beverages.

After dinner, we'll run some Kidz Bop music near the dance floor and the let the kids dance off the sugar!

THANKS! We look forward to seeing everyone Sunday!
Gayle, Greg & Ailish Lynch

P.S. If you or your child has a food allergy, please let Gayle know @ [email protected] so I can plan on a pizza that will fit your family's needs. Thanks!

Hospitality Ministry Meetings

Hospitality Ministry Meeting will be on July 10 and 17. At St. James, we aspire to be witnesses to the Good News of Jesus Christ to one another, our community, our diocese, and the world. We live out this aspiration in the way we show hospitality to guests and newcomers. This July, we are hosting two Hospitality Ministry meetings at which we will focus on how to invite, welcome, and connect others into our church family. We ask that all our members , most especially our ushers, greeters, and servers, plan to attend one of the meetings.

Please mark your calendar for July 10th or 17th at 9:00 a.m. The meetings will be held in the Parish Hall. Join us as we focus on entertaining angels in our midst.

Calling All Prayer Warriors:
Pilgrimage Prayer Support Needed!

Our own Claudia Stephens is making a pilgrimage this summer. She plans to walk the Way of St. James (Camino de Santiago de Compostela) across the north of Spain. Each day from June 2 - July 15, Claudia will walk a segment of this 500-mile pilgrim trail.

St. James will be supporting Claudia as she walks by joining her in prayer, one day at a time. Please take a moment to visit Claudia's Prayer Team Page where you can sign up to take a prayer shift.

Sermon & Education Recordings

Our sermons and adult education classes are recorded and made available online! This is a wonderful way to stay in touch if you are traveling or have to be away on a Sunday
morning.

Please also consider sharing sermons or classes that are particularly useful to you with friends and family who might not attend St. James (or any other church). We hope these resources might draw others into fellowship with us at St. James.

For sermons, visit the Sermons page on our website. For adult education classes, check out our SoundCloud stream.

Do You Have A Prayer Request?

Prayer requests
St. James is a community characterized by prayer. Please share your prayer concerns with us: it is our joy to lift up your prayer concerns to the Lord just as we lift up our own. We welcome you to bring these concerns to our clergy or the church office or you can share them with us on a prayer request form (located in the entry to the Church) or through our website under the heading "Connect."

James 5:13-14 Are any among you suffering? You should pray... Are any among you sick? You should call for the elders of the church and have them pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord.
