We hope you are having a wonderful start to your summer vacation! The office will be open over the summer from 9 am to 3pm. Please send us photos and a short note from your summer adventures; we'd love to see what you're up to! We will hang them on the bulletin board outside Mrs. Zolnowski's office.
We have a few staff departures to announce, we hope you will join us in wishing them all the best:
Deb Balcareck has thoughtfully and excitedly taught Art this past school year to grades K-8. She has done an excellent job connecting to our students, and is very sad to have to leave BFCCPS after only her first year due to personal and family reasons. It is our hope that we will cross paths again during our planned expansion, and that we will be able to work with Mrs. Balcarek again!
Beth DiMartino returned to BFCCPS part time as a Math Coach this year, and has since accepted a full time teaching position a little closer to home. Beth will be incredibly missed here at BFCCPS and we wish her all the best of luck in her new school.
Melissa Herliczek has been teaching Science to our Grade 7 and 8 students for the last four years. During her tenure Melissa has transformed our science program, worked on the Vision Board for Expansion and served as a member of our Mission Committee. She literally leaves big shoes to fill and we wish her all the best of luck as she begins her new journey.
Donna Mann has worked at BFCCPS with students in Grades 1 and 2 for a number of years and has also cheerfully worked as a member of our Express Dismissal Crew. Mrs. Mann is leaving to take care of a sick family member and we know she will be an absolutely loving and attentive caregiver.
Rick Stemple joined BFCCPS four years ago to teach Library and Technology to students in grades K-8. In his time here he has also taught Conversational Spanish, Programming Classes, and played in the Orchestra Pit for our annual spring musicals. We wish Mr. Stemple all the best of luck in his future endeavors.
Sandra Perry celebrated her retirement with the students and staff this spring. She served as a French and Latin teacher for the past nine years at BFCCPS. Her enthusiasm for her subject matter is evident in the great strides our students have made in Latin during her time here. Please join us in wishing Dr.
Perry a relaxing and enjoyable retirement.
Have a great rest of the week!
