Students, this is a time for ending one season of life well, and starting a new season of life. Our graduating seniors are still with us for the summer, but not for much longer! Now, our incoming 7th graders are preparing to join us--  I am so excited to show you all ropes of what our Student Ministry is all about. What a joy it will be to see our upperclassmen take these students under their wings and treat them with love and respect. On Wednesday's we worship with great music and biblical teaching, and then we discuss this teaching and apply it to our lives in small groups. I can't wait to show you how much we love to play! Our first chance to play and fellowship with the you incoming 7th Graders will be at SkyZone today - more information following - as well as other events weekly, all summer! 

We are now two weeks away from Summer Games University. SGU will surely bring us all together in a memorable and thrilling way. This is one of the major ways we will proudly walk alongside these incoming 7th graders as they join us in 7-12 Grade Student Ministry.

With all this going on in our student ministry, I am excited to start our brand new series this week: Summer Games Bootcamp. This is a crash course in how to get your heart steady and ready for all that God wants for our lives. If you are going to Summer Games University this will help prepare you for the teaching we will hear. If you are not going to Summer Games University this will help you see a snapshot of what will go on at Summer Games University, and will help you to relate to your fellow students both before and after Summer Games University. In either case we will learn powerful, practical truths from God's word that will push us forward this summer.
