Like her sister before her, Alexa Peruffo, chose to donate all gifts for her Sweet 16 Party to the children at Astor. With the help of her generous friends and family, this unique 16 year old, encouraged her friends to give back instead of keeping gifts for herself. This idea was preceded 8 years ago by her sister Heather, who also donated gifts on her Sweet 16 to Astor.The children of Astor will make good use of these gifts this summer, so Thank You To Alexa Peruffo and her friends and family for coordinating this.

| We had several "Graduations" "Awards" and "Moving Up" ceremonies throughout our Hudson Valley and Bronx Programs. We want to thank everyone who played a role in the success of our children.
Our 8th Grade Graduating Class in the Bronx P352x. We're proud of each and every child's hard work to get to this day!!

Awards Day at Astor Rhinebeck Residence with special awards to Student of the Year for exemplary achievement in academic and behavioral gains went to Milagros (Millie above)
and the student and staff member recognized with the Joel Robert Crenshaw Award,
which distinguishes those that embody Astor's spirit of caring, resiliency, compassion and commitment to others. The student award went to, Roberto, and Staff member Jonathan Silver.

As the school year winds down, we had a full schedule of graduation ceremonies this week -- a bitter sweet time to celebrate our children's accomplishments and watch as they grow and thrive. We are very proud of them and thank the entire support system that contributed to their success!
